Q |
How do you remove limestone sediment when the DeKalc machine and its coils are not exposed to water? |
A |
The DeKalc machine uses a power transmission coil wrapped around the water pipe which creates a magnetic field. When water (usually ground water) flows into the zone of influence of the magnetic field, the mineral ions are forced to condense and settle down. The current then causes the sediment to flow out of the drain. |
|
Q |
Does it really work? |
A |
This product has been tested by Portsmouth University and Drexel University in the United States. Several editions of their report has been published and released. |
|
Q |
How will we know the DeKalc machine is working? |
A |
- In about 4 to 6 weeks, you should notice that the lime stain around the drains and shower head are fading.
- The water will feel smoother.
- Washing machines and dishwashers will perform better, with clothes and dishes getting cleaner.
- The amount of soap, shampoo, detergent and cleansers you use will be reduced.
- It will become easier to clean surfaces, especially the bathtub, sink and toilet bowl.

Q |
How strong is the magnetic field created by the DeKalc machine? |
A |
The power of the magnetic field created by the Dekalc machine is very low. It is less than the Earth's magnetic field. |
|
Q |
Will the machine affect the quality of the drinking water? |
A |
The chemical properties and mineral value of the water will remain unchanged and the water will taste the same. So you do not need to have a separate tap for drinking water. |
|
Q |
Where does the eroded limestone sediment go? |
A |
The limestone does not get stuck in the water pipe and the equipment used. It will float out of the pipe with the current. |
|
Q |
Do I have to have someone install the Dekalc machine? |
A |
The water pipe does not need to be cut, so most customers are able to install the machine manually. The installation should not take more than 30 minutes. However, you may also have a local craftsman or electrician install it. |
|
Q |
After installation on the pipe, is there anything else about the Dekalc machine that needs to be checked?
|
A |
Make sure that the computer is connected to the power supply and the light bulb is sufficient. |
|
Q |
What are the electricity costs of running the machine? |
A |
This machine uses about 100-240 baht of electricity per year. |
|
Q |
Does the Dekalc machine work with any kind of pipe? |
A |
The machine can be installed on pipes made of copper, plastic, steel or lead. |
|
Q |
Where is the best place to install the DeKalc machine? |
A |
The main water pipe is a good place. That way all the water that flows into the home is treated. But if necessary it can be installed on the next position in the water system. |
|
Q |
What length of pipe is required for installing the Dekalc machine? |
A |
For installation you need to use a straight pipe 10 cm long. The pipe can be placed in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal direction. You can also use one machine to treat two pipes as well. |
|
Q |
What do I do if the machine does not work? |
A |
Usually we can resolve most issues. But if we are unable to do so, you will receive a full refund. |
